Battle of the Year Nigeria is a pre event to Battle of the Year an International Break Dance Championship for B-boy crews. It is scheduled for Sunday 6th July 2008 in Lagos and will be preceded by Qualifier (screening session) which will feature crews from 5 different cities/zones in Nigeria.

Every year, Battle of the Year features the best and most innovative Break dance crews from all over the world. One of its goals is to make this event as international as possible. The Battle of the Year is a platform for B-Boys and Hip-hop culture in general and an opportunity for all participants to express themselves in a peaceful and non-racist environment.
